Hair loss in women is common – but not desired! Check out how to treat hair loss.

On average we lose around 100 hairs a day – and grow back just as many to replace them. So if you see a few hairs on your pillow or in the sink this is totally normal. We only talk about hair loss if your hair is getting noticeably thinner. Our tips can help you overcome this.

  1. UV radiation from the sun has a negative impact on our hair. It dries it out, makes it brittle and even attacks the skin on your head. If the sun is very strong it is best to wear some form of head protection.
  2. Some hairstyles can encourage hair loss. In order not to unduly stress your hair, do not tie your ponytail too tight, for example. Regular bleaching is also not recommended.
  3. Use a suitable conditioner on a regular basis for your daily hair care, so that you don't pull out too many hairs when you comb it through. Special shampoos such as Pantene Pro-V Breakage Defence Shampoo are an effective treatment.
  4. After washing your hair, do not dry it too intensively, and especially not at too high a heat. For best results set your hairdryer to lukewarm. If you have enough time, just let your hair dry naturally.
  5. In many cases iron deficiency can lead to hair loss. Discuss any possible iron deficiency with your doctor and find out what you can do to rectify this.
  6. An increasing reason for hair loss is stress, which is often caused by an active life. In this case the cure easy, just calm down and find ways to relax.
